Reports to: Director of Development
Hours per week (average): 40 hrs
Status: Full Time, Exempt
Salary: $105,000

Position Summary
Supermajority Education Fund is seeking a Deputy Director of Development of Director to join the team. Reporting to the Development Director, the Deputy Development Director will be integral in creating and implementing a plan to build our pipeline of major gift support.This role includes management of the Development Manager of Operations and Prospecting. A successful candidate will have experience in building and managing a major gift portfolio, successfully soliciting five- and six-figure gifts, and developing new donor relationships.

Responsibilities and Tasks
Major Donor Portfolio Management

    • Consistently engages in communication with potential and existing donors
      through email, phone outreach, and meetings (either virtual or in person).
    • Supports communication with potential and existing major donors for the Director of Development and Executive Director through a moves management process
    • Expands the portfolio of major donors through research and identification of donors and prospects who have the capacity to give five and six figure gifts, especially individual donors.
